I started my day great. I get to work, then remember to call AT&T to check up on the status from last week. I live on the outskirts of a small town, and it is considered a rural area. Which means My house doesn't qualify for internet service. I tried AT&T, Comcast, Brighthouse... Nothing. Only DishNet which offers me limited services. Um, no. I need lots and lots of GB.
Anyway, so supposedly Arlene, the agent, said she would send a tech out to my house. My back door neighbors qualify for Uverse, the whole street that is not even 100 ft from my house qualify for Uverse, so why can't my home? I am on the phone, kept getting transferred back and forth through the same departments with the run-a rounds. I had a ticket number, for Pete's sake and you still can't help me? I finally got the point where I told the last technical support guy that wanted to transfer me for the 6th time, over 30 mins later, that I knew it was not his fault but that I was extremely frustrated with them not helping me out. I told him politely I needed to calm down and I would call the next day fresh. It is obviously MY interest to get this service at home, mind you I have online classes I need to do, so I spent my day looking for alternative ways to get to the right person. I sent an email so hopefully this will help. Wooosaah... I feel better blogging this. Have a great day.

Oh no. Still no luck with the internet? I can't believe they had you from one place to the other. You should file a complaint.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that will get me anywhere? I definitely will if the can't get me internet. I will write it to the CEO.
